We are happy to host once again in Cambridge an exciting series of Italian theatre workshops led by renowned professional theatre director, and actor Ludovico Nolfi.

The theme will be the relationship between Dario Fo, playwright, actor, director, and Nobel Prize for literature, and the Commedia dell'Arte that inspired his artistic work in such an extraordinary and universal way.

Participants will have the opportunity to physically explore, with fun and involvement, the techniques of the Commedia dell'Arte and their intimate relationship with the comedies written by Dario Fo.

At the end of the workshops, those interested in continuing the experience in the next term by preparing an Italian theatre play promoted by the Cambridge University Italian Society and in collaboration with Ars in Fieri International Theatre Company will also have the opportunity to participate in the auditions for the cast selection.

In order to be registered for the workshop, please fill this form out by Saturday, 12th of November 2022. Please, select all the dates on which you are available to attend. We have limited space for each of the workshop sessions and we need to divide you into groups if we have more registrants than the available spots. We will send a confirmation as soon as we organise the groups.

The workshop sessions will be held from 7 pm to 9 pm at Homerton College, MAB small studio (location to be confirmed).

Remember that the workshop is free, and everyone is welcome to join. You do not need to be a Cambridge University student or a professional actor. And even if you do not speak Italian, assistance will be at hand!
